Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 24 years and the maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
No senior or young driver surcharge.
Driver’s License
Driver must present a full and valid driving license which has been held for a minimum of 3 year with no major endorsements.
Domestic driving license issued in Europeon union drivers license is accepted without an international driving license.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) or a certified translation is mandatory is the driver’s license is not in English/Roman alphabet. International driver license or a certified translation must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.
The following documents are mandatory to present at the time of vehicle pick up: Personal ID card or passport, driver's license and Credit/Debit Card under main driver’s name.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess/deductible of amount 400 to 2000 EUR depending on the car group.
Theft Waiver (THW)
It is included in your rental amount.
It reduces the client's financial responsibility for loss or theft to the vehicle to the sum of the deductible of 400 to 2000 EUR depending on the car group.
Third Party Liability
It is included in the your rental amount.
It covers the amount up to 1 Million EUR.
Excess Reduction
Additional insurance options are available to reduce the liability at the rental desk
SCDW will reduces the liability to zero and can be purchase at 15 EUR to 45 EUR per day depending on the number of days and car category.
Other fee:
1. If the vehicle keys are lost or stolen, a fee of EUR 300 will apply.
2. You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines, other penalties, and loss of vehicle keys/documents etc. incurred whilst the vehicle is contracted to you. The rental office will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administrative expenses.
3. In case of Losing documents, a fee of EUR 150 will apply.
4. In case of wrong fuel, a fee of EUR 800 will apply.
5. If car is returned dirty 10 to 20 EUR charge will appy.
Smoking in the car is prohibited, and if Client smoke in the car a fee of 300 euros will apply.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge. If breakdown is required due to customers fault additional charge will apply depending on the situation. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Fuel Policy
Full to Full. The client must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel provided at the time of check out.
Please Note: The vehicle must be refueled within 10 km to 12 km of the return station and the renter must present the receipt from the petrol station to confirm that the vehicle is returned with the same fuel tank.
Mileage Policy
Unlimited Mileage for Skoda Rapid, VW Passat and Mercedes B Class all other vehicles have limited mileage policy of 200 KM Per day, extra charges will apply depending on the vehicle.
Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is not allowed.
VAT
VAT is included in the rental price.
Payment Methods and Deposit
All cards are accepted except American Express and must be on main drivers name while paying at the rental desk.
Cash and debit card payments are also accepted for payment only and not deposit.
Deposit
A refundable deposit varying from EUR 500 to EUR 2000 depending on the vehicle groups will be held from the credit card until the car is returned.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection service is available for an additional charge and is only allowed if pickup or drop off is from Cluj-Napoca city.

Out of Hours
Out of hours service is available for an additional of 10 EUR per pickup/drop off.
Grace Period
For vehicle pick up
1 hour grace period from the schedule time of pickup is allowed. If the customer comes to pick the vehicle after the grace period the booking will be considered as "No-show" or car will be provided but extra charge wiill apply of 50 EUR If client doesn’t inform.
For late return
1 hour grace period is for returning vehicles. If the customer comes to return the vehicle after the grace period then additional 50 EUR will apply.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
